Esta es la lista de las 200 mejores BSO instrumentales y de cine. Excluimos en esta lista musicales y bandas sonoras de canciones. Es importante entender que el objetivo de esta lista es ayudar a orientarse a la gente que necesita información. Con ellas satisfacemos algo que ha venido sucediendo desde el mísmísimo primer año de existencia de MundoBSO. Hay mucha gente que no tiene el grado de información o conocimiento que, por dedicación, tienen los aficionados, y es precisamente a esta gente a quienes queremos ayudar a comenzar o cuando menos a orientarse en el infinito océano de las bandas sonoras.
